Electrical Stimulation TENS/NMES

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulators (TENS) and electronic muscle stimulators (EMS) employ electrotherapy to treat acute and chronic pain, but the methodology differs. NMES, which stands for Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation is considered synonymous with EMS.
